At that time, the main urban area of Changsha and Xiangyin will achieve a 15-minute commute and a 29-kilometer expressway. The line is about 10 kilometers away from Xiangyin South Interchange and about 5 kilometers away from Changsha Wangcheng Tea Pavilion Interchange. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. • On the morning of March 26, 2026, the "Wanmei Electric Power" shield machine of the 500 kV Wuhu GIL pipe gallery project was excavated in Nicha Town, Wuwei City, and the project officially started. This project provides support for the Yangtze River transmission channel of the Gansu Zhejiang ± 800 kV high-voltage project, relocating the original 500 kV line to the ground and reserving two 500 kV cross river channels. The project is the first 500 kV transmission pipeline crossing the Yangtze River in China, with a shield section length of 3554.4 meters and a tunnel outer diameter of 11.6 meters.
