[CNCEC signed a strategic agreement with Sonangol in Angola]On June 6, 2023, CNCEC General Manager Wen Gang held talks with Diamantino Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Natural Gas of Angola, at the group headquarters. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting practical cooperation on key projects, and jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and a memorandum of project cooperation between CNCEC and Angolan National Oil Company. The Manville hydropower station in Cameroon has been fully developed, with an installed capacity of 211 megawatts and an annual power generation of over 1 billion kilowatt hours. It is also connected to a 278 kilometer 225 kV transmission line and put into operation. The order for four largest 4300TEU container ships from Ningbo Ocean Shipping has been landed, with a total investment of over 1.6 billion yuan. They will be constructed by Huangpu Wenchong and delivered in 2028. The ship type is adapted to the needs of international routes, combining low-carbon environmental protection and intelligent operation and maintenance advantages, and zero emissions can be achieved by docking.
