[CNCEC signed a strategic agreement with Sonangol in Angola] On June 6, 2023, CNCEC General Manager Wen Gang held talks with Diamantino Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Natural Gas of Angola, at the group headquarters. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting practical cooperation on key projects, and jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and a memorandum of project cooperation between CNCEC and Angolan National Oil Company. • According to the Ministry of Energy, Kazakhstan has not received any official notification from Russia regarding restrictions on the transit transportation of Kazakh crude oil through the "Atyrau Samara Friendship Pipeline" route. According to unofficial sources, due to the limited technical capabilities of the Russian side, the crude oil transportation work on this route may not be able to be carried out temporarily from May 1st this year.
