[CNCEC signed a strategic agreement with Sonangol in Angola]On June 6, 2023, CNCEC General Manager Wen Gang held talks with Diamantino Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Natural Gas of Angola, at the group headquarters. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting practical cooperation on key projects, and jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and a memorandum of project cooperation between CNCEC and Angolan National Oil Company. Romanian State Secretary of Energy Christian Busoy revealed that the country aims to achieve a wind and solar installed capacity of 10 gigawatts by 2030, and the focus of subsequent policies will shift towards energy storage projects. The Minjiang Second Bridge in Pingshan, Sichuan, jointly built by CRBBG, has officially opened to traffic. The bridge is a mid supported steel-concrete arch bridge with a deck width of 43.4 meters, setting a world record for the widest arch bridge of the same type. The project team has overcome complex hydrological and site challenges, innovated construction modes, and effectively improved regional transportation and empowered local economic development after opening to traffic.
