[Guangdong 100MW Fishery and Solar Complementary Project Approved] Recently, the People's Government of Maoming City, Guangdong Province, announced the approval of the environmental impact assessment for the Xiadong Photovoltaic Composite Project. The project is located in Gongguan Town, Maonan District, with a new 2000 acre photovoltaic array area, booster station, and power collection line. The photovoltaic array area is distributed in the fish ponds rented by Dahuanni Farm, Bengtangling Village, Potang Village, Mugutang Village, Datangpo Village, Gandi Village, Hongqiling Village, Xiashanzi Village, and Lichitang Village. The project covers an area of 1.75 million square meters and adopts the complementary mode of fishing and lighting to develop and utilize solar power generation. The planned installed capacity is 100 megawatts. After completion, it can provide clean electricity to the power grid every year of 120192.99 MWh, and the cumulative online power generation within the 25 year life cycle is 30048247 million kWh.
