[The preliminary design of Chaoshan Bridge was approved] <p>Recently, the preliminary design of the Chaoshan Bridge project was approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation. The Chaoshan Bridge project started in Outing, Longhu District, Shantou (connected to the northern extension of Taishan Road), crossed Meixi River to the north, and ended at Anbu Town, Chaoan District, Chaozhou City (connected to Zhanqian Road, Chaoan District). The technical standards of the first-class highway are adopted, the main line is 1.420km in length (the length of auxiliary roads on both sides is 0.97km), there is a bridge of 956.4m/1, auxiliary roads are equipped with 1 culvert and 3 plane crossings. The construction site of the project is about 240 meters downstream of the Meixi River Bridge on the Guangmeishan Railway. The total investment is about 740 million yuan and the construction period is 3 years.
