In July 2026, the Guxian Water Conservancy Hub Project on the Yellow River entered a comprehensive acceleration stage. As a strategic project for Yellow River management, its dam site controls over 60% of the basin area. After the official start of construction in 2024, a large amount of earthwork and concrete work has been completed.
